Amoy Hotel By Far East Hospitality

Named after the Zhangzhou migrants who settled this stretch of Chinatown, Amoy Hotel takes its identity from the district's trading history rather than any invented theme. The hotel is built into a row of shophouses on Telok Ayer Street, once the working heart of Singapore's port trade. It holds just 37 rooms. That scale shapes the service: staff greet guests by name, and the front desk runs around the clock. The Fuk Tak Chi Museum, one of Singapore's oldest temples, sits inside the building itself, so the site's past is not staged elsewhere but kept under the same roof. Rooms mix Chinese heritage details, such as a carved bed frame in the Cosy Single, with a minibar, Nespresso machine and Wi-Fi. The Deluxe Room adds a porcelain basin and 22 m² of space.
