Night Game Drives (Additional Cost)

Available at an additional cost, this drive leaves the lodge at about 20h00, after an early dinner, for roughly three hours exploring the park after dark. It shifts focus from the daily game drives to Africa's nocturnal predators, with spotlights picking out eyes and movement in the bush. On clear nights, moonlight reflects off Lake Manyara, adding to the scene. Guests listen to the sounds of the bush changing character after sunset, a different register of activity to daytime sightings. It runs as a add-on to the lodge's standard game drives and walks.
