A children's activity programme at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, aimed at young guests travelling with family, recommended for those eight and older staying in the Family Treehouse Suite. Days can include a walk to spot butterflies, a bicycle ride through a nearby village, lessons in traditional bow-and-arrow and spear-throwing skills, a football match against lodge staff, and cookie-baking with the kitchen team, followed by marshmallows toasted over the fire at the boma. The programme runs alongside the lodge's game drives, walks and bird watching, giving families a mix of bush activity and hands-on fun.
