Rhino Tracking On Foot (additional cost)

A morning spent on foot with a ranger and tracker, following the trail of the endangered black rhino through Phinda's bush. Guides read tracks, middens and scratching posts to work out where the animals have passed and where they might be found. The pace is slow and deliberate, dictated by the signs on the ground rather than a fixed route. Walking shoes are essential. Unlike a game drive, there is no vehicle between you and the bush, and no guarantee of a sighting, only the search itself.
