Beyond the senses (additional cost)
Night drive with thermal cameras and wireless headsets
Skip to product information
A private vehicle fitted with infrared and heat-sensing cameras turns an ordinary night drive into something closer to surveillance of the wild. Footage from the cameras plays on four separate monitors, one per row of seats, so every passenger has their own view of what the naked eye would miss. Wireless headsets pick up sounds from across the reserve, a hyena calling somewhere in the dark, a porcupine digging nearby. A ranger, a tracker and a dedicated camera operator run the outing together, reading the bush through both instruments and experience. The result is a quieter, closer look at how animals actually behave once the sun goes down.
