Beyond the senses (additional cost)

A private safari vehicle fitted with thermal-imaging and infrared cameras turns after-dark game viewing into something closer to wildlife filmmaking. Four onboard screens, one per row of seats, show live footage of animals moving through the bush, much of it activity the naked eye would miss. Wireless headsets pick up night sounds, from a hyena calling in the distance to a porcupine digging nearby. A ranger, a tracker and a specialist cameraman run the outing together, reading the terrain and operating the equipment. The result is a quieter, closely focused version of a night drive, built around technology rather than spotlights.
