APLEND CITY Hotel Perugia
Sixteen rooms make up the whole of APLEND CITY Hotel Perugia, set in the Old Town of Bratislava. The scale is deliberate: no long corridors, no anonymous floors, just a compact house with a restaurant on the ground level and a small library one flight up. Koliba Kamzík occupies that ground floor, serving meals to guests and passers-by alike. Upstairs, the rooms split into three grades. Classic rooms run to 16 square metres, with twin or joined beds, air conditioning and a safe. Classic Premium adds two extra square metres and a sofa, plus an open private terrace for those who want a coffee outdoors. Deluxe rooms reach 20 square metres and sleep up to four, with a sofa bed and a bathroom that trades the shower stall for a tub. Every room carries the same basics: minibar, kettle, tea and coffee, free WiFi, satellite TV. You notice the practical touches first, the kettle and cups set out for arrival, the hairdryer already in the bathroom. Nothing here is designed to impress. It is designed to work, in a district where guests are more likely to be out walking the Old Town than sitting in their room. The library on the first floor is small, a shelf or two rather than a reading room, but it is there.
