Arabian Adventures Overnight Desert Safari

The Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve sits inland from the city, a protected stretch of dune and scrub set aside for wildlife rather than development. Arrival is by dune drive, the 4x4 cutting across sand ridges before guests transfer to camel for the last approach into camp. It is a quiet way to enter the desert. Evenings run to a set rhythm: BBQ dinner in a Bedouin-style setting, shisha or drinks for those who want them, then a guided walk once the light has gone. The reserve holds Arabian oryx and gazelle, and the night walk is built around spotting them, along with whatever else moves after dark.
