Art Nouveau Palace

Art Nouveau Palace Hotel is set where Prague's Old Town gives way to the New, on Panská street, a short walk from Wenceslas Square and the Mucha Museum. The building dates to 1909, its façade and interiors carrying the ornament of the period after which the hotel is named. Inside, 127 rooms and suites have been renovated with white Carrara marble bathrooms, triple-glazed windows, and individually controlled air conditioning. Rooms range from 25 m² Deluxe rooms to 51 m² Art Nouveau Suites on the fifth, sixth, and seventh floors, some with views toward Prague Castle or the Old Town skyline. Junior Suites keep their high ceilings and a separate sitting area. Café Palace, the ground-floor restaurant, runs under deep red walls and street-facing windows that pull in daylight and the passing crowds outside. Executive Chef Edmond Janouš, who has worked alongside chefs including Zdeněk Pohlreich, leans on Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours for the seasonal menu. The hotel also holds meeting rooms and underground parking, useful given the pedestrian core around it. Old Town Square and Charles Bridge lie within a ten-minute walk. Check-in runs from 3pm. Pets are not permitted.
