Artist Hotel

Built as a showcase for Israeli contemporary art, Artist Hotel treats its 60 rooms as gallery walls rather than backdrop. Works come from the Doron Sebbag collection alongside pieces commissioned from young local artists specifically for the building, so a stay here doubles as a walk through a private exhibition. The hotel sits on Ben Yehuda Street, a short walk from Bograshov beach. Interiors keep to grey and pink tones, kept plain so the art carries the room. Bathrooms have rain showers and products from a named spa line. Downstairs, a fitness room and dry sauna sit on the lower level, open around the clock. The roof deck is where the hotel loosens up: timber decking, planting, and a mix of armchairs and daybeds meant for lingering rather than passing through. You can smoke there, the only spot in the hotel where it is allowed. Breakfast runs to a full Israeli buffet with a pastry station and a build-your-own bowl bar. There is no parking on site, though a paid lot sits two minutes away on foot. Check-in is from 3pm.
