Aston Samarinda Hotel and Convention Center

The Aston Samarinda is a 165-room hotel set in the centre of Samarinda, on Kalimantan's east coast, with a direct link to Samarinda Central Plaza. It is built for both trade and travel. The Deluxe Room and Junior Suite both frame the river and skyline, while the Business Suite adds a sofa and separate bathtub across 40 square metres. Public rooms carry the same practical brief: a business centre, a grand ballroom that seats up to 1,500 guests, and smaller banquet spaces for meetings. Guests swim indoors, work out in the gym, or sit in the sauna and whirlpool after a day of meetings. Silversea Restaurant serves espresso and pastry by afternoon and stuffed tenderloin with wine by evening, drawn from an international list. Within walking distance stand the shops, restaurants and entertainment venues of central Samarinda, along with sights such as the Islamic Center mosque on the riverbank.
