Canoeing
Canoe the Zambezi's channels, rapids and open waters
Skip to product information
The Zambezi carries canoeists through narrow channels, small rapids and long open stretches, past game reserves where elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra and antelope come down to drink. The river runs clear here, and its banks hold lion and leopard among the more visible herds. No previous canoeing experience is necessary, so the outing suits first-timers as well as those who have paddled before. Guides lead the route, judging which channels to take and where the water runs fastest. It is a slower way to see the wildlife around Victoria Falls, at the pace of the current itself.
