Aziza Hotel

Hotel Aziza is a small hotel set in the oldest residential part of Sarajevo, above the old bazaar quarter of Baščaršija. The site gives a view over the bazaar and, in part, the wider city. Rooms are plain and comfortable rather than showy: double rooms come with a king-size bed or two twin beds, an extra bed possible in some, and a bathroom finished with oriental-style ornament. Junior suites add a sofa-bed and sleep up to four, useful for families passing through on a city break. Every room has air conditioning, a minibar, a safe, and a kettle for tea or coffee. Some rooms have balconies. There is a sauna on site, and massages are offered alongside it. Breakfast runs as a buffet each morning. A transfer service can be arranged from the airport. Nearby, guests can walk to the Alija Izetbegović Museum and Sarajevo's historic City Hall, both within reach of the old town streets below the hotel. It is a compact stay, built around the rhythms of the neighbourhood rather than a hotel campus. Check-in is from 2pm, check-out by 11am.
