Beach Albatros Resort

Set along a sandy stretch of Red Sea coast, Beach Albatros Resort opens straight onto calm, shallow water suited to children as well as swimmers. The shoreline is private, backed by subtropical gardens and a run of pools that catch the afternoon sun. Rooms and suites face garden, pool or sea, each with a balcony or terrace; the Royal Suite runs to 70 m² with its own sea view. Six restaurants cover the ground from Italian to Indian to fresh seafood, and eleven bars keep pace from morning coffee to late cocktails. A mini aqua park adds slides and pools for younger guests, alongside two hard tennis courts, a padel court, a diving centre and a wellness area with sauna, steam bath and whirlpool. Beach volleyball and basketball fill the sand and courts by day. You can hear the sea from most balconies facing the water. The resort sits close to the airport. Hurghada's centre is a short drive further on, though little reason arises to leave: gardens, pools and beach are built to hold a full stay's worth of attention on their own.
