Arriving on Jalan Che Tak, guests find a boutique hotel built around five room categories rather than one standard layout. The Deluxe runs 32 m², the Executive Deluxe 38 m² with a bathtub, and the Bedrock Family 42 m² with two super king beds and a shower. Largest is the Duplex Family at 57 m², split across two floors with two bathrooms for families travelling together. The Bedrock Suite adds a separate living area to its 55 m². Every room carries the same fixed set: a Nespresso machine, a Coway water dispenser, an in-room safe, an iron and board, a desk, minibar and flat-screen television. It is a compact stay, walkable to Ipoh's old town. The Heritage Trail, the Ipoh War Memorial and the Ho Yan Hor Museum all sit nearby, and D R Seenivasagam Recreational Park is within easy reach on foot. Staff here run more like a small team than a front desk, arranging drivers to the limestone cave temples outside town and pointing guests toward restaurants worth the walk. Free Wi-Fi and parking are included, unusual for a property this size in a city centre. The hotel opened only a few years ago and was named Best City Hotel for 2019/2020 by the Asia Pacific Tourism & Travel Federation, a recognition of its scale and finish rather than its age.
