Betikure Parc Lodge

Planted across 20 hectares of palms and other species, Betikure Parc Lodge took its name from a local word meaning to share the pot, and the phrase still describes how the place runs. The property keeps its numbers small. It has six mini villas and a suite built for easier access, alongside standard rooms of 35 square metres with a terrace and separate shower and toilet. The larger suite runs to 65 square metres, with two bedrooms, a kitchen, a lounge and a private outdoor jacuzzi terrace. A separate suite called Bois Noir suits guests with mobility needs, set on one level near the entrance track. Meals lean on local supply lines: fruit from the grounds, meat from village butchers, fish including mahi mahi and wahoo bought straight from local suppliers. The dining room opens onto the pool and garden, and a communal farê with gas hotplates sits above the valley for guests who want to cook their own. You can walk a 40-minute trail on site or head to the Déva estate nearby for longer routes along the lagoon.
