HORSE BACK RIDING
Trail rides through Boca Tapada's reserve, spotting wildlife along the way
Skip to product information
Horses take the trails of the Hacienda Boca Tapada reserve, at a pace that allows time to notice what is around: birds, insects, trees, and, with luck, a tapir. Midway through the ride, a stop at a natural lodge in the forest gives riders a chance to rest and take in the sounds of the jungle before heading back. It is one of several ways to explore the property's grounds, alongside guided walks, kayaking and boating, but covers ground on foot would not reach, giving a slower, closer look at the reserve's plant and animal life.
