KING VULTURE SIGHTING
Watch king vultures feed at a fixed viewing point
Skip to product information
A short drive from the lodge, one and a half kilometres along the road, brings guests to a fixed point set up for observing king vultures at a feeding site. The birds, recognisable by their bare orange-and-black heads and pale bodies, gather to feed while other species move through the surrounding habitat. Guests travel by vehicle and can spend time photographing or simply watching from the viewing spot. The stop also takes in other birds using the same feeding areas nearby, making it a chance to see several species without a long walk.
