BridgeView Resort
Set above the Adomi Bridge, this Akosombo resort frames Volta Lake from every chalet

Set on a ridge above the Volta Lake, BridgeView Resort looks down on the Adomi Bridge and the water it crosses. The chalets sit at the top of the slope, reached by a short walk up a gradual incline from reception. Rooms face the bridge, the lake, and the hills beyond, with plain wood and stone finishes rather than heavy decoration. It is a compact stay, built around a single, repeated view. A five-minute drive across the bridge leads to BridgeView LakeSide, a second property set directly on the water, where an infinity pool overlooks the lake and a spa works with locally sourced oils. Guests can kayak, paddleboard, or canoe from the LakeSide shore, or swim laps facing the hills. On land, trails run through the forest around the ridge, climbing toward wider views of the water and the mountains that ring it. The Family Room adds a second bedroom and a balcony looking straight at the bridge and the range behind it. A third address, BridgeView Accra, puts the same finishes into a city townhouse near Cantonments' embassies and restaurants. Akosombo itself sits about ninety minutes from Accra by road. Check-in runs from 3pm, and reception stays open around the clock.
