Casa Bustamante Boutique Hotel

Set behind thick republican-era walls, Casa Bustamante keeps its original floors, timber ceilings and antique furniture alongside modern fittings such as air conditioning and safes. The house was built in 1913 in El Cabrero and stayed with the Bustamante family from the early twentieth century; it is now listed as architectural heritage. There are eight rooms across four types, from a family room with two queen beds to a suite with a king bed opening onto an interior patio lit by soft, warm daylight. Bathrooms run clean and bright. Outside, a garden, terrace and pool sit within walking distance of the old walled city and Marbella beach; the airport is minutes away by car. You can walk to the city walls in about four minutes, past the Ermita del Cabrero and its quiet church square. The Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas stands under a kilometre off, visible above the rooftops. Breakfast and Wi-Fi are included. It is a small, family-run stay, and staff are known for personal attention rather than scale. Rooms max out at four guests, sized around 35 square metres. The pool sits roughly 100 metres from the beach, more suited to a quiet swim than laps.
