Castell de la Solana
Framed by olive trees and the ridgelines of the Jalon Valley, Castell de la Solana reads more like a converted house than a hotel. The property holds eight rooms across a 1,200 m² building, set within a one-hectare garden of olive groves. Balconies and terraces face the mountains directly; several rooms, including the Garden Rooms Violeta and Dosel, open onto private patios overlooking the grove instead. Rooms run from the 22 m² Classic category to the two-level, 65 m² Lux Apartment, which has its own outdoor kitchen and terrace. Bathtubs feature in most categories, alongside Matri beds and Rituals bathroom products. The spa area pairs Turkish and Finnish saunas with a jacuzzi and an indoor pool. It is a compact stay. An outdoor pool with a bar sits in the garden, and a fitness room holds a Wattbike, rowing machine, and free weights. The hotel sits about an hour's drive from Valencia and from Alicante, close to cycling climbs such as Coll de Rates that draw professional teams for winter training, along with hiking routes through the Bernia Ridge. Guests can also walk to Jalon village for its market and small producers. The whole property can be booked exclusively for groups of up to 18, with breakfast included as standard and other meals arranged on request.
