Castle Residence Praha
Set behind Baroque walls in Prague-Troja, the hotel occupies a former wine estate dating to the 18th century, its grounds running to 25 acres of garden. The stone-vaulted wine cellar survives intact and now hosts private dinners, tastings and receptions for up to sixty guests. Old Town lies 15 minutes away. The restaurant seats 80 and serves Czech and international dishes alongside local wine, a nod to the estate's own winemaking past; in warmer months, tables move out to a 40-seat terrace shaded by the garden. A separate Baroque building, the Garden Residence, sleeps up to eight across four bedrooms and four bathrooms, with its own kitchen and entrance, suited to longer stays or a family taking the whole house. Rooms throughout are furnished individually rather than to a fixed template. The spa adds a heated pool, sauna and massage treatments, a quiet counterpoint to the cellar's stone and timber. Guests can walk the vineyard-turned-garden before breakfast, served daily with warm and cold dishes. It is a compact, self-contained stay, closer to a private estate than a city hotel, yet close enough to reach Prague's castle and bridges within a short drive.
