Costa Mujeres is the strip of coast north of Cancún, and this resort is built entirely around suites rather than standard rooms. Nine categories run from the Superior Suite up to the Privileged Grand Family Suite Deluxe, each with a separate living room and sofa bed, a minibar stocked with beer and soda, and a digital safe. Some open onto a private plunge pool with a 120cm depth; others add a double terrace or a second flatscreen for family use. Privileged-tier guests get a discount on treatments at Alegría Spa and a pass to its water circuit, plus a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner at a dedicated ocean-view restaurant. Turndown service and beach towels delivered to the suite are part of that same tier. Elsewhere on site there is a gym, a kids' club, a conference centre and a pool for general use, alongside fine dining and massage treatments. Room service runs 24 hours, as does the front desk. Wi-Fi is complimentary throughout, a detail still worth stating plainly at a resort this size. Outside the property, guests can arrange golf, kayaking, horseback rides or a helicopter flight, and the beach itself sits close enough for a short walk. It is a resort built for length of stay rather than passing through, with the suite format doing most of the work.
