Ceylo Villas
Seven-bedroom villa stay near Induruwa beach, with pool, garden and full kitchen
Ceylo Villas is a boutique stay set back a short walk from the beach at Induruwa, on Sri Lanka's southern coast. Seven bedrooms run from standard rooms to suites, each with air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom and a king-size bed, and the villa can be taken as a whole for a family group or wedding party. A pool sits at the centre of the grounds, ringed by sun loungers and lush gardens. Meals are taken in a shaded outdoor dining area. The restaurant serves both local and international dishes. Staff run daily housekeeping and turn-down service. Ceremonies are held under an old frangipani tree or beside the pool. Couples can also arrange a Kandyan wedding, with traditional drummers and rituals. Bentota Lake and the gardens at Lunuganga lie within easy reach. It is a compact stay. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, and Wi-Fi runs throughout the property at no extra charge, useful given the villa's distance from central Bentota. Rooms are furnished with antique and traditional pieces alongside modern fittings, and the deluxe rooms add a sofa seating area and a larger bathroom. Breakfast draws on ingredients sourced locally. The result is a small, garden-set base for exploring the coast and lake nearby.
