Steeped in the scent of local herbs, the MCELY BOUQUET SPA blends its own oils and balms in a chateau laboratory, using recipes tied to the Nine Flowers tradition once practised in the village. The chateau sits under an hour from Prague, in the Bohemian village of Mcely, its English park running into St George Forest. It holds 24 rooms, each named and decorated differently, from Deluxe Rooms up through the two-bedroom Agape Presidential Suite on the top floor. Three spa suites, called Honey, Pearls and Silk, are set across the estate: one in the chateau itself, one in the tower, one in a wooden park pavilion with an open fire. Guests can walk from a sauna house to an outdoor whirlpool, then cool off in a naturally filtered swimming lake with a pebble beach. It is a compact estate, easy to cross on foot. Piano Nobile, the restaurant, holds a Michelin Key and Michelin Selected status for 2025, its menus built on ingredients from the chateau gardens and its own smokehouse; the cellar below, the Alchemist Club, stores over 1,000 bottles across 260 wines. Executive chef Honza Štěrba has cooked here since the chateau opened in 2006. In the park, an English-style summer club opens onto the lake with loungers and a bar. Check-in runs from 3pm.
