The kitchen at Chikunto works from a remote National Park setting, yet everything served is cooked and baked on site by an experienced team, using ingredients sourced locally wherever possible. Vegetarian, vegan and coeliac guests are catered for as readily as the predominantly meat-eating majority. Dining is flexible: a private table for two, a shared meal around the fire pit with drinks beforehand and stories swapped afterward, or a private dinner arranged on the raised stargazing platform. The result is food that feels considered rather than improvised, despite the surrounding wilderness.
