City Palace Hotel Ohrid

City Palace is set directly on the promenade of Lake Ohrid, a short walk from the Old Town. The building faces the water, and the rooms behind its windows carry wooden floors and views over the lake or the mountains beyond. Four room types are offered: Economy Twin, Standard Twin, and two lake-facing categories, the Double or Twin Room with Balcony and Lake View and the Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Lake View. Each has a private bathroom with a walk-in shower; several add a balcony or terrace looking straight onto the water. Rooms are air-conditioned, with cable TV, a mini-bar, and soundproofing against the promenade below. A restaurant and bar sit on site, alongside a spa area available at extra cost. You can arrange a boat or bicycle rental through the hotel, or a taxi boat out onto the lake itself. Car rental and an airport transfer can be booked on request, useful given the distance to Ohrid Airport. It is a compact stay, built around one clear asset: the water at its door. Check-in runs from 2pm, checkout by 11am. The old town's restaurants and monuments lie within easy walking distance, making the hotel a base for exploring on foot rather than by car.
