Clef Des Iles
Four beachfront duplexes on Beau Vallon, twenty minutes from Victoria by road
Skip to product information
Set directly on the sand at Beau Vallon, on Mahé's north coast, Clef des Îles keeps to just four duplexes, each facing the islands offshore and the open ocean beyond. The beach itself runs for about 2 km, lined with trees that shade the shore, and a coral reef sits roughly 50 m out from the property. Each duplex measures 120 m² over two floors: upstairs, two air-conditioned bedrooms open onto a bamboo balcony facing the water; downstairs, a fitted kitchen gives onto the living room and a terrace with a takamaka-wood bar. Fixtures run to an espresso machine, television, safe, and outdoor barbecue on request, with cots and high chairs available for families. Mornings bring a plate of seasonal fruit and juice, and the property refills glass bottles from a local artesian source rather than stocking plastic ones. Equinoxe Diving School operates its boat from the beach at the door, running scuba, free-diving and snorkelling sessions with an emphasis on reef conservation. Restaurants, a spa, and fresh fish stalls sit within a short walk. Victoria is about a 20-minute drive; the airport around 35 minutes. From the terrace steps, guests can watch the nightly show as the sun drops behind Silhouette and North Island. It is a small, self-catering stay, run by Seychellois staff, built around the beach rather than around itself.
