Club Med Finolhu Villas

Set over a lagoon and along a strip of white sand, the Finolhu villas form Club Med's Exclusive Collection on the island of the same name in the Maldives. Guests choose between two settings: a villa raised on stilts above clear water, or a beach villa with sand underfoot and a private terrace. Each comes with a butler rather than standard room service, along with access to the concierge desk that arranges arrivals and requests ahead of the stay. Sunset or sunrise decides the outlook, since villas face one direction or the other across the water. It is a compact, adults-oriented corner of a larger resort. Guests staying in the villas keep full run of the main Club Med property nearby, including its restaurants, bars, and watersports. Champagne is served by the glass from 6pm as part of the Exclusive Collection arrangement. Terraces sit close enough to the water that fish are visible from the overwater villas without any need to swim out. The Maldives sun and warm sea define the pace here more than any schedule does.
