Coconut Court Beach Hotel

The South Coast boardwalk starts at the property's edge and runs to Accra Beach, a walk most guests make at least once. Family-owned by the Blades family since 1975, the hotel has kept a personal, small-scale feel rather than chasing the scale of its larger neighbours along the coast. Rooms range from ocean-view doubles to two-bedroom apartments with full kitchens, set in an annex across the road but still within reach of the beach and pool. Deluxe Ocean Front rooms get private balconies and rainfall showers, with the Caribbean Sea filling the view. There is no lift; stairs serve every floor. Three venues cover meals and drinks: Coco's Beachside Restaurant for dinner and live music, Captain Charlie's for rum punch on the sand, and Jake's for grill dishes and cocktails. A freshwater pool, gift shop, and activities desk round out the grounds. Bridgetown and St Lawrence Gap are a short drive away, and the Garrison Historic Area, a UNESCO World Heritage site, lies within walking distance.
