Corinthia Brussels

The hotel stands on Rue Royale, in the Notre Dame aux Neiges quarter of central Brussels. Built as the Grand Hotel Astoria in the Belle Époque period, the building has been reworked as Corinthia Brussels while keeping its grand staircase and stained-glass walkway, both listed features of the original structure. Rooms and suites are arranged across nine categories, from Deluxe Rooms to full penthouses, each referencing some strand of the city's design history. The Royal Heritage Suite honours this most directly: its 180 m² footprint follows the plan of the 1900 Royal Suite, and past guests are said to have included Winston Churchill, Salvador Dalí, Andy Warhol and Bob Dylan. A baby grand piano sits in its salon. The Grand Gallery Penthouse, the hotel's largest, holds two bedroom suites, a private gym and treatment room, and a terrace looking over the Palace of Justice, Congress Column and cathedral. Dining runs from Palais Royal, the two-Michelin-star chef David Martin's restaurant, to Le Petit bon bon under chef Christophe Hardiquest, with cocktails at Under The Stairs and tea beneath the skylight of the Palm Court. The Corinthia Spa, run with Sisley Paris, covers 1,200 m² and includes a hammam and sauna. Check-in runs from 3pm. Brussels Airport lies 14 km away, about 22 minutes by taxi.
