Cottle Hill Creek is a family-owned property on a 16-acre lifestyle block offering luxury eco accommodation options in Kerikeri, New Zealand. Accommodation consists of a unique and beautifully decorated floating houseboat. It sits peacefully in the corner of a small private lake. The Ark is docked alongside a pier where a nearby willow tree provides a great outdoor living area and a tranquil place to BBQ, sunbathe, read, relax, or enjoy a cool drink on a hot day. Inside is a small but perfectly formed space with a luxurious open plan, well-equipped kitchen, dining, lounge area, and bathroom. An incredibly comfortable queen-size bed is accessed via a ladder in the loft. The Ark is off-grid, self-sustainable and provides an escape from the stresses of the city. Guests may row or kayak on the lake, take a peaceful walk through the native bush, enjoy bird watching, discover swimming holes, or say hello to the animals. During open fire season, guests are welcome to collect wood and build a fire in the pit outside The Ark. Pioneer cast iron cookware is provided to enjoy a unique outdoor fire cooking experience. The property also offers platters, some catered meals, and photography packages.
