Cross Chiang Mai Riverside
Century-old tamarind trees shade a riverside resort beside Chiang Mai's Ping River
Skip to product information
Shaded by century-old tamarind trees, the courtyard at Cross Chiang Mai Riverside opens straight onto the Ping River, where the water runs slow and brown past the resort's rooftop infinity pool. The design mixes modern lines with Lanna touches: carved wood, pitched roofs, and glass. Four suite types face the river or garden, including a Grand Suite with its own balcony over the water and a Pool Suite with a private plunge pool and sun deck. Doi Suthep rises beyond the garden rooms. Oxygen Dining Room sits inside a glass pavilion by the river, serving French technique alongside Thai flavours; you can watch longtail boats pass while you eat. Guests can paddle out on the Ping River by kayak, straight from the resort grounds. It is a short drive to Chiang Mai's old town. A daily shuttle runs guests to the Night Market at 5pm, and to the weekend walking streets on Saturdays and Sundays. The hotel keeps a fitness centre and a spa on site, alongside the rooftop pool, and check-in runs from 3pm with check-out at noon. Parking covers 50 cars. It is a non-smoking property, with one designated smoking area, and does not accept pets.
