Arrival here means a boat. Amanecer Delta Lodge sits on Canal Honda, in the first section of the Tigre Delta, and the only way in is by private launch, water taxi, or the twice-daily shared boat from Tigre's river station, a run of about twenty minutes by private craft. The lodge keeps a private dock with round-the-clock watch, so bags and guests transfer straight off the water.
Four cabins make up the property: Aliso de Río, the largest at 42 m² plus a 20 m deck and its own stretch of riverbank, and three smaller one-room cabins, Los Ceibos, Casuarina and Madreselva, each around 28 m² with a 12 m deck over the canal. Every cabin has a kitchen, air conditioning, a 55-inch television and a grill outside. It is simple, self-catering, and quiet.
Starlink now covers the property, so wifi holds even this deep in the delta. Kayaks can be arranged for the canal, and a provisioning service delivers groceries by request. Pets are welcome. The setting is dense with willow and ceibo growth along the water, and at low points in the day you can hear little beyond the current and the birds. Check-in logistics run entirely around the boat schedule, not a road.
