Diamante Paguera Boutique Hotel

Set a five-minute walk from Palmira Beach, on Carrer de Palmira in Peguera, Diamante Paguera Boutique Hotel has been run by the same family since 1975. The building has been renovated more than once since then, most recently in its rooms and suites. It is a compact stay. Superior doubles run to 15 m² and come with larger bathrooms, while junior suites, at 25 m², were rebuilt from scratch. Each room has air-conditioning, a mini-fridge, satellite TV and a safe, and some open onto a balcony or terrace. Downstairs, guests have a sauna, spa, gym and a pool with a terrace, plus a Jacuzzi and a dressing room aimed at cyclists, who can also use a workshop and wash area for their bikes. The on-site restaurant serves Mediterranean cooking, from wood-fired pizza to grilled meat and fresh fish, alongside a tapas selection, and half board covers a starter, main and dessert from the menu. At night the poolside bar runs a cocktail programme under LED light. You can walk to Paguera's boulevard in two minutes, and to Cala Fornells and the headland at Cap Andritxol in a short stretch beyond that. The hotel also arranges airport transfers. It is a small, personal address rather than a resort, built around three generations of one family and a location that keeps the beach close.
