Djudzheva Kashta Hotel Complex

Set behind a courtyard gate on a quiet street in central Panagyurishte, the complex gathers two houses, a restaurant, a small shop and a summer kitchen around a shared garden. The larger house was once the family's main residence; the smaller one served as an outbuilding. Together they hold two apartments and six double rooms, each named for a piece of the house's past. It is a compact stay. The Petrishki family has run the property since 2007, after tracing down the original owners' heirs and spending more than two years on its restoration. Rooms keep timber furniture and thick stone walls, and the courtyard well still carries a carved date from 1860. The shop occupies the former grain store, selling embroidered costumes and small souvenirs; the summer kitchen next to it holds household objects, some over a hundred and fifty years old. The restaurant serves regional dishes cooked from local produce, with bread baked on site each morning. You can hear the story of the house over breakfast, told by the hosts themselves. Ten bicycles are available for guests exploring the town on their own, and a local guide leads walking tours past its historic houses and museums. Pets are welcome, with bedding provided on request.
