Dolcevita Egadi Resort

Levanzo, smallest of the Egadi Islands off Trapani, keeps a site islanders still call Mannara Vecchia, after the cistern ruins where herds once watered on this stretch of rural ground. Dolcevita Egadi Eco Resort was built into that same plot, using traditional materials chosen to sit quietly against the landscape rather than announce themselves. The Deluxe rooms run to 30 m², the Jacuzzi Suite to 50 m². A heated pool runs through winter, and a small spa offers steam, jacuzzi and a holistic centre built around four elements — air, earth, fire and water — with massages and facials matched to each. Outside the rooms, the resort arranges boat tours along Levanzo's coves and trekking or mountain-bike routes across the island's interior, along with diving and snorkelling in the water just offshore. Cars are barred from Levanzo in summer; a free shuttle meets guests at the harbour and carries them to the resort. The island itself has no real town, just this rural quiet and a hydrofoil link to Trapani, roughly twenty-five to fifty minutes by sea. It remains a small, self-contained base rather than a resort strip.
