Dom Gonçalo Hotel & Spa

Dom Gonçalo Hotel & Spa is a family-run hotel set among tended gardens in the centre of Fátima, 750 metres from the Sanctuary. The building dates its hospitality back to 1968, though the interiors now split between two distinct registers: Design rooms in a contemporary key, and Classic rooms with a vintage, wood-furnished feel. There are 71 rooms in seven types and four suites, most carpeted, all with air conditioning, a safe and a capsule coffee machine. Suites add a separate sitting area and run to 43 square metres, large enough for a sofa bed and a family of four. The spa anchors the lower floor. Its wet circuit runs to a heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath, with a separate fitness room and an outdoor workout area open around the clock. Guests get an hour of the wet circuit daily on request; a cap and slippers are required throughout. The kitchen sources from that same range, plus the sea at Nazaré and the hotel's own garden. It runs to buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Check-in starts at 3pm.
