Domus Renier occupies a restored Venetian residence at Kountourioti 41, facing Chania's Old Harbour and its Egyptian Lighthouse. The building's stone walls and soft, natural tones carry through ten rooms and suites, each laid out differently rather than stamped from one template. It is a small hotel, and it reads that way.
Most rooms face the harbour and lighthouse; the Classic Double looks instead onto a quiet alley. The Deluxe Suite runs to 30 m², with a lofted sofa area tucked under the eaves. The Honeymoon Suite, at 45 m², adds a loft and an indoor balcony behind large windows. Largest is the Grand Harbor Master Suite, 95 m² across the entire third floor, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a private balcony over the Venetian port. Domus Secreto, set apart in the Old Town, pairs two suites with a private cave jacuzzi cut into the original stone and a secluded courtyard garden.
Cretan bath products and Nespresso machines appear throughout; several suites add hydromassage showers. You can hear the harbour from most balconies after dark. Reception runs around the clock, and airport transfers can be arranged on request.
