Helicopter Safaris
An aerial view of the Okavango Delta's channels and wildlife
Skip to product information
A helicopter lifts guests above the Okavango Delta for a view impossible from the ground: the maze of channels, lakes and islands laid out below, and herds of buffalo or zebra grazing undisturbed by the aircraft overhead. The pilot talks through the headset, pointing out game and explaining how the water has shaped the land over centuries. On some flights the helicopter lands on a remote island untouched by human activity, where a boat may arrive with coffee or sparkling wine. It is a way to grasp the scale of the delta in a single outing. Additional rates apply.
