El Solar de la Luna is a house built on the top of Buena Vista Mountain, at 300 metres above sea level. From the terraces the view runs over Morrocoy National Park toward Chichiriviche and Puerto Cabello, with the Coastal Range showing green in the distance. The house holds seven rooms, each with a private bathroom, air conditioning, hot water, feather duvets and a safe. Sheets are woven at 250 threads per inch. It is a compact stay, built for guests who want quiet over volume.
Common areas open onto each other: a lounge, an open kitchen, a covered dining room, and terraces both open and semi-open. An outdoor hot tub sits at the edge of one terrace, facing out toward the water. Hammocks hang in the lounge areas for guests who prefer to rest with the sea as a backdrop. The kitchen runs on a set menu built around breakfast and a four-course dinner, with a barbecue area and bar beside the covered dining room for private events booked in advance.
Parking is enclosed and the grounds run on wireless cameras, an electric fence and guard dogs, with lighting covering both the interior and exterior grounds. Boats and local skiffs can be arranged from the property for trips out to Morrocoy's cays. Wi-Fi and satellite television are standard in every room. The mountain sits about 12 km from Tucacas and roughly three hours by road from Caracas.
