Elegant Hotel & Resort

Elegant Hotel & Resort is a 2014 build set on the lower slope of Teghenis mountain, at 1,792 metres, above the town of Tsaghkadzor. The main building holds 44 rooms across five categories, from 20 m² standard doubles to an 87 m² suite; seven detached two-storey cottages, each 100 m², add fireplaces and full kitchens for longer family stays. A trout river runs through the grounds. It is stocked with Armenian trout. Guests can fish it with rods supplied by the hotel and have the catch grilled or cooked to order by the kitchen. Inside, a pool with a small waterfall sits alongside Finnish and Turkish saunas, a salt room, a massage room, a gym and a billiards room charged by the hour. A conference hall seats 70 and has hosted forums and business meetings since the hotel opened. The restaurant runs a menu spanning Armenian, European, Chinese and Japanese dishes, backed by a lobby bar and a separate hookah lounge. The ski area lies 628 metres away, its base at 1,966 metres, and the hotel runs a free shuttle there along with hire equipment for skis, snowboards, sleds and snowmobiles. A kids' club supervises children free of charge during the day. Check-in runs from 2pm.
