Madisa Camp’s guided Elephant Tracking Excursion departs at 07:30 and usually lasts between six and eight hours, depending on where the desert-adapted elephants are moving on the day. Accompanied by an experienced guide, guests learn how to read tracks, signs and the surrounding bush while searching for these remarkable elephants in their natural Damaraland environment.
