Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge

Set on 700 acres between the Athabasca River valley and the shore of Lac Beauvert, Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge occupies a stretch of Jasper National Park ringed by pine forest and peaks. Cedar chalets and cabins line paths that thread the property, connecting the main lodge to a golf course, a spa, and the lake itself. Rooms range widely. The Main Lodge King Suite has a private balcony over Lac Beauvert and two full bathrooms; the Athabasca Cabin, set above the river, is built for two with a wood-burning fireplace and jacuzzi. Larger groups take the Ridgeline Cabin, three bedrooms across 147 square metres with its own kitchen and washer-dryer, or the eight-bedroom Milligan Manor, which sleeps ten across nine bathrooms. Most cabins and rooms have had recent renovations. The lodge's Boathouse puts guests directly onto the lake for canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding, and the on-site golf course marks its centenary through 2026. Skiing and snowshoeing take over in winter. You can walk from a cabin door to the first tee or the lakeshore in minutes. Edmonton International Airport lies 389 kilometres away, roughly four hours by road. Self-parking is free; valet and two Tesla chargers are available on-site. Check-in is at 4pm.
