Framed in glass from floor to ceiling, every room at Fairmont Yangcheng Lake fixes on one of two views: the lake's shifting morning mist or the clipped parkland below. The resort sits on the western edge of Kunshan, in Jiangsu province, with 199 rooms and suites spread across nine categories. Signature Lake View rooms take the water side, with marble bathrooms and sliding doors that let guests reset the room's mood. Park-facing rooms look north over gardens toward the coloured rooftops of a nearby villa complex. Fairmont Gold rooms occupy the top floors, reached by its own check-in, with private balconies, Nespresso machines and a dedicated lounge. A jade-bottomed pool sits mid-garden, built for guests who want water without the lake's open expanse. The grounds run to an organic farm on Yue Feng Island, where twenty-five hives supply honey bottled for the all-day restaurant, Essence. Guests can also try kayaking or a dragon boat along the adjoining river. It is a big property, built for both leisure stays and meetings, with extensive function space alongside the rooms. Suites add separate living areas with wooden floors and marble bathrooms fitted with full-size tubs. Check-in runs from 3pm.
