Fairplay Golf & Spa Resort

Benalup-Casas Viejas lies inland from the Strait of Gibraltar, in Cádiz province, and it is here, inside the Alcornocales natural park, that Fairplay Golf & Spa Resort is built to resemble one of the region's whitewashed villages. The site borders the dry basin of the Laguna de La Janda, a former wetland whose open plain reaches the horizon beyond the golf course. The Atalaya restaurant sits by the pool with lagoon views; you can eat from a poolside lounger or move indoors when the season turns. An 18-hole, par-73 course wraps the property, with a separate pitch and putt and practice ground. Aura Spa runs a water circuit with underwater jets, waterfalls and massage stations, open to guests aged 16 and over, with some exceptions from age 10. A full-size football pitch, built to FIFA dimensions, and a smaller seven-a-side ground serve visiting teams on training stays. The resort keeps five restaurants in rotation depending on the season.
