Fenix Hall Boutique Hotel
Thirteen rooms in Hallstatt, two minutes on foot from the lake and beach
Skip to product information
Set two minutes on foot from the Hallstatt lakeside beach, Fenix Hall occupies a building first mentioned in 1850 and recently restored to its original character. The village's historic centre and the ferry landing are both within easy walking distance, and the oldest salt mine in the world sits three minutes away, alongside the skywalk with its views over the lake and surrounding mountains. It is a compact stay. Thirteen rooms are split across double, deluxe double, superior double and a single junior suite, each with wooden floors, a flat-screen TV, a coffee machine and a bathroom with shower or bath, and every room looks out onto the mountains that ring the village. The property runs family-owned, and rooms stay free of smoke throughout, with free Wi-Fi extending across the whole building. A public car park sits about 150 metres away for guests who arrive by road, with a spot at the hotel itself reserved for check-in and check-out only. Salzburg airport is around 75 km out, and train travellers can also change at Obertraun-Dachsteinhöhlen station for a taxi or local bus into the village. Restaurants, a supermarket and the bus stop are all a short walk from the door, and the Dachstein-Krippenstein cable car is five minutes away by car.
