Finca La Azul

Tupungato's Cordón del Plata rises directly behind the property, and the vines run downhill toward the Las Tunas stream that waters the whole slope. Finca La Azul sits at 1,300 metres, bordered on one side by the wine route and on the other by the valley's working vineyard corridor. It is a family-run house, built and renovated with thicker walls, double glazing, and wood stoves for the cold months. Stone and sand from the estate itself appear throughout the interior. Four room types are on offer: Standard Twin, Standard Double, Superior Double with its own balcony, and the Eco Double Deluxe, which runs on solar hot water and underfloor solar heating. Every room faces the same view, the Andes and the Tupungato volcano beyond the vines. Breakfast is included, and dinner runs by arrangement most evenings. A pool opens in summer, and a small wine cellar holds bottles from the surrounding valley. Guests can walk out through the peach trees and vine rows without leaving the property. It is a compact stay, closer to a working farm than a hotel, and it feels that way at breakfast.
