Grand Isle Resort & Residences is a villa community built around that curve of beach in Great Exuma, its 78 one- to four-bedroom units finished in West Indies style with natural stone floors, granite counters, and private terraces or balconies facing garden or ocean. The Panoramic Penthouse sits at the highest point in Emerald Bay, its wraparound terrace looking over the crescent beach and the channel beyond. The Grand Penthouse, largest of the group at just over 5,200 square feet, has an oceanfront balcony spanning 1,100 square feet and dining for up to 12. Meals run across three kitchens: The Grill House at 23° North for grilled catches, Palapa for island breakfasts, and Sandy Toes for jerk chicken served beachside. A marina, spa, and fitness centre round out the resort side, alongside an infinity pool and an adults-only pool at the 23° North Beach Club. Beyond the villas, Great Exuma delivers what the water is famous for: swimming pigs, iguanas on Leaf Cay, bonefish flats, and reef snorkelling reachable straight off the shore. Exuma International Airport lies about 20 minutes away by car. Golf carts get guests around the grounds; groceries can be delivered ahead of arrival.
