Grand Josun Jeju

Set above Jungmun's shoreline, the rooftop pool at Grand Josun Jeju looks straight out over the sea, open to adults only and closed through winter. Suites in the Hill Suite building repeat that outlook at ground level, each paired with its own heated pool, sauna and gym access that main-building rooms don't get. The main building holds nine room categories, from the Deluxe, at 46.7 square metres with a balcony, up through the two-bedroom Royal Suite. Kids Deluxe rooms come in one of three themes — Forest, Under the Sea or Sky — assigned at random on check-in. It is a hotel built around families as much as views. The Josun Junior kids' club runs on the second floor, and a lending library stocks strollers, bottle warmers and bed guards free of charge. Downstairs, Aria handles the buffet, while Gran J and a rooftop bar called Peak. cover coffee and drinks with that same sea-facing angle. Grand Josun sits near Cheonjeyeon Waterfall, on Jeju's south coast at Seogwipo. Check-in runs from 3pm. The garden pool downstairs stays open through the seasons, heated, for guests who skip the rooftop crowd. Between the two pools, the hill suites, and the kids' programming, the hotel reads less like a single resort than three overlapping ones under one roof.
